If you have a talent for organization, the office can use your help. Signing in visitors who come to see the dogs & giving them directions where to go & how to see a dog they are interested in & providing adoption applications & other forms to visitors frees up time for the office staff to continue more complicated paper & computer work uninterrupted. Answering phones to give basic info about R.U.F.F.'s location, business hours, adoption fees, etc. also helps the office staff. There is filing, posting pictures of adoptable dogs on the bulletin boards, general cleaning of the office area. You can get to know the office "greeter" dogs, walk them to the runs to prevent "accidents" in the office. It's sad when people arrive at the office to see about adopting a dog & find it locked & leave because the office staff had to go on an errand or take care of an emergency.
