Businesses & schools all over the area encourage or require a certain amount of volunteer time. We need a liaison to contact & ask them to put R.U.F.F. on their approved volunteer list & to set up a age appropriate events or projects for scout groups, Sunday School classes, etc. who contact us wanting to help. We need someone to contact the newspaper or radio stations when we have a fundraising event. Some businesses are letting us put up photos of adoptable dogs; we need volunteers to contact other businesses about this & to periodically visit the businesses to be sure the display is in good condition or update or replace it if necessary. We could use volunteers who can visit & make sure vet's offices & pet stores in the county are always supplied with R.U.F.F. business cards. If you are good at these types of activities (& there are many more), we can use your help to make sure more people think of R.U.F.F. when they decide to add a dog to their family.
